Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust make sure young people don't face cancer alone. We do it by providing world-class cancer care and support in specialist units, local hospitals and in homes across the UK.

We're there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment and after treatment.

Support Services

Age specific support

We provide world-class cancer care and support for young people with cancer aged 13-24 in age appropriate units, local hospitals and in homes across the UK. We're there at every stage, from diagnosis through treatment and after treatment. During treatment, we fund Specialist Nurses and Youth Support Coordinators to work with NHS staff in hospitals to support young people with cancer. After treatment, we provide support programmes and events to offer advice and bring young people together.

Children, teens and family support

Teenage Cancer Trust Clinical Nurse Specialists are experts in teenage and young adult cancer care. They are professionally trained to know how to communicate with and support young people with cancer. Our nurses are there to make sure young people get the best possible treatment, care and support.

To help teenagers and young adults answer the many questions that cancer can bring up, we publish a variety of clear and straightforward information resources including the wide-ranging book that we give to all of the young cancer patients we support: ‘Honest Answers, Sound Advice: A Young Person’s Guide to Cancer’.

Teenage Cancer Trust's 'Find Your Sense of Tumour' is a weekend event for young people who've had cancer. Enjoy a mix of inspirational workshops, fabulous therapies and great social activities, as well as the chance to meet other young people who know what it's like to have cancer.

Every spring, Teenage Cancer Trust takes over the Royal Albert Hall to put on a week of music and comedy gigs to raise money for young people with cancer. We offer the 'Ultimate Backstage Experience' for young people who've finished their cancer treatment, a truly unique opportunity for young people to play a part in the week.

Our website, www.teenagecancertrust.org features no-nonsense advice on everything from dealing with hair loss to returning to work after cancer treatment.
